Whatsapp For Blackberry OS Will Stop Working Coming December 2016

Before now, we all know that Blackberry has stopped producing new devices running on Blackberry Operating system. Blackberry has started sending push notification to users that Whatsapp for Blackberry will stop working coming December this year 2016. Sad though.

Some people has already gotten the message and while some haven't. A guy tweeted about the message he got from blackberry concerning whatsapp for blackberry discontinuing. See his tweet below;

Anyway, lets say goodbye to Whatsapp for blackberry OS. Whatsapp for blackberry operating system will stop working coming 31st of December 2016.

If you are using an older BlackBerry smartphone (OS 5/6/7/10), by the time you wake up on the 1st of January 2017, you won't be able to access your Whatsapp on your blackberry device. This is gradually the end of blackberry device.

If Whatsapp which is the most used messenging app stopped working on blackberry devices, what do you expect that will happen? Ofcourse many people will drop Blackberry devices.

Blackberry has stopped manufacturing blackberry smartphone running on Blackberry OS. Blackberry will start producing Blackberry smartphones running on Android Operating system. This is not really a good news though but you have to take it as it is. For the mean time, what do you have to say as a Blackberry or non-blackberry user?
